Jenny and Richard offer you a warm and friendly welcome to "Breakers" guesthouse, with stunning views across Croyde 's superb beach from all en suite bedrooms. At Croyde "Breakers' you will be staying in the closest B&B to the beach - Just imagine, after waking up to a panoramic view of the bay, a delicious English cooked breakfast and a short one minute walk, you could be kicking off your sandals and dipping your toes in the Atlantic ocean. For pure relaxation, Croyde "Breakers" is your best choice.

Once you have arrived, you've no need to drive. We have plenty of private parking off-road, so you will save on beach parking fees too! Built for a retired Sea Captain, "Breakers" nestles beneath gently sloping Devon hills, surrounded by lovely gardens and overlooking the bay. Open your window and hear the sound of the surf and enjoy watching the waves, sit outside on our lawns and watch the sun setting over the ocean, relax with a book or burn off some energy playing family games in the garden.

The house is spacious and comfortable, with large TV lounge downstairs and another living room on the first floor overlooking the gardens with tea/coffee facilities for reading the papers and `chilling out' after a hard day on the beach or the golf course. We have a large library of fiction and non-fiction books for you to borrow during your stay, and many family board games too. If you would prefer to play a DVD or video, we have a selection, including children's films. We also provide a wi-fi service.

All bedrooms have en suite showers and toilets, hairdryers and shaving points. As well as a double or twin, we have a family room. If you have a baby we have a cot and highchair available too. We provide personal towels, and if you wish we have beach towels. If you are staying for several days, Jenny will happily help you with your laundry needs. There are facilities for rinsing and drying wetsuits, and safe storage for surfboards and bicycles.

For that all-important breakfast, our own free-range chickens are busily laying fresh eggs for you. Add some tasty bacon, sausage and all the trimmings for a full English cooked breakfast,or the veggie option, or indulge in fruit, yoghurt, cereals and toast.

If you give us a little notice, we can provide a packed lunch for a small charge, or help with dietary requests.


Within walking distance the village has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes for lunch or evening meals, or a short drive into the surrounding towns will give you even more choice. Our rates are from £25 per person per night.
